We have participated in this event since the 2nd annual 5k and have watched it grow over these past 8 years! 

Why do we do this?

We lost dear Jodi to a brain aneurysm rupture in 2012.  It had been missed in evaluations for severe headaches.  We are so thankful for the support we've received as a family through the years.  Most importantly, we want to spread the word on the signs and symptoms in addition to raising money to support research in methods to improve survival with surgery.

We are participating in the Pittsburgh Brain Aneurysm 5K on September 17,2022.

This fundraiser will provide brain aneruysm awareness, education and support for the brain aneurysm community in Pittsburgh! The route is along the beautiful Allegheny River with a great view of Pittsburgh's skyline. We will gather together to remember and honor friends/family members, meet other survivors, share stories and support the wonderful efforts of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

OUR MISSION: To promote early detection of brain aneurysms by providing knowledge and raising awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors. Work with the medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families, as well as to further research that will improve patient outcomes and save lives.
