Brain Aneurysm Foundation Memorial

Hedwig (Hedi) Rudloff

The Rudloff Family has set up a Memorial Page in honor of their wife and mother, Hedi Rudloff. Hedi survived and overcame the acute and chronic effects of two bleeding brain aneurysms in 1991 and 2003. She passed peacefully in 2016 at the age of 82 after succumbing to the brain degeneration she suffered as a result of the aneurysms and brain surgeries. We are raising awareness and funds for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation to mitigate the effects of this devastating injury. In honor of Hedi's struggles and triumphs, we are asking for you to make a donation to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, the world's only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysm ruptures.

All proceeds go towards:

  • Funding and supporting new research.
  • Providing support and educational materials to the medical community, the newly diagnosed, survivors, family members, friends and the general public regarding the facts, treatment options, and recovery process for brain aneurysms.
  • Increasing awareness of brain aneurysms by promoting National Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month in September and by distributing aneurysm awareness materials to Emergency Departments in every hospital and to the community.

All donations are tax-deductible and every dollar raised goes to help support the mission of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

Those of us blessed to have known Hedi will find comfort in knowing her memory will live on through your donation. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.  We sincerely thank you- Winfried, Uwe, Christiane, Elke, Eric, Kai, and grandchildren.
