I'm fundraising for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!

We all support different causes that directly affect us. This is no different, the Brain Aneurysm Foundation is part of me now. You may not have known someone that has had an aneurysm or even worst, a ruptured aneurysm. Now you do. I had a ruptured aneurysm in February of this year.

A blood clot in the vessels of my brain built up more and more blood until the blood had no where to go but outside the vessel. It ruptured one evening, while I was doing laundry! But it wasn't the action of the laundry that burst the vessel, it was time. Time for that build up of blood to grow. Had I known I had an aneurysm in my brain, I would have gotten it fixed prior to the rupture. The pain of the rupture was more than anyone should encounter. Worse than any migraine pain I have had, worse than anything.

Thankfully with quick thinking from my partner, he called 911 and first responders reacted quickly, swiftly and took me to where I needed to go. A hospital that had neurosurgeons that could help. After weeks in the ICU, I have recovered and am getting back to my normal life.

I'm walking to support the research and aid of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, to help others know what the signs are and how to get help when you need it.

Please consider donating to this cause. Your contribution will make a difference.

Thank you,

Riah
