Stronger Together: Supporting Brain Aneurysm Research
I'm fundraising for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!
In April 2024, during my first trimester of pregnancy, we discovered a sizable ACom (anterior communicating artery) brain aneurysm. A full year later, after successfully welcoming Charlie in November, I underwent brain surgery, where a metal coil was placed in the aneurysm to prevent further growth. I now have yearly scans and checkups with my medical team to monitor the coil and watch for any changes.
It has been a long journey for me, Sam, and the kids, but we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful doctors who have guided us through every step, as well as for all of your continued love and support.
In September 2025, more than 20 friends and family members came together to walk in the Brain Aneurysm Foundation’s Chicago Walk. Together, we raised more than $17,000 for an organization that is incredibly meaningful to me and our family.
I’m fundraising again this year and would be so grateful if you would consider donating to support those affected by brain aneurysms and help fund essential research, education, and awareness.
Thank you for helping make a difference with your support! ❤
