Welcome to 'The Brothers Brainy Bunch' 5K - YEAR 3!
I'm fundraising for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!
This cause is close to my heart because in April 2024, I beat the odds and survived a subarachnoid hemorrhage - a ruptured brain aneurysm. I have spent the last almost two and a half years raising my voice and my story loud for all to hear.
Ruptured brain aneurysms are fatal in about 50% of cases. Of those who survive, about 66% suffer some permanent neurological deficit.
Approximately 15% of people with a ruptured aneurysm die before reaching the hospital. Most of the deaths are due to rapid and massive brain injury from the initial bleeding.
Every dollar raised brings us closer to unlocking breakthroughs in brain aneurysm research, awareness, and support.
Your donation and / or in joining my 5K team will help to:
- fund critical research to better understand and prevent brain aneurysm ruptures
- spread awareness so more people recognize early symptoms
- provide essential resources for patients and families affected by brain aneurysms
Every donation, big or small, is a key to unlocking a brighter future for those impacted by brain aneurysms. To support my efforts, you can donate directly through my fundraising page here:
Thank you so much for considering a contribution and/or for joining my team in person or virtually. Together, we’re making a real impact!

OUR MISSION:
To promote early detection of brain aneurysms by providing knowledge and raising awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors. Work with the medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families, as well as to further research that will improve patient outcomes and save lives.
Through your support, the Brain Aneurysm Foundation will be able to continue to provide support and educational materials and information to brain aneurysm patients, their families, and the medical community and to promote critical awareness of brain aneurysms which will lead to earlier detection. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is funding essential research that will promote a better understanding of why this condition happens and identify those at risk before an aneurysm rupture occurs.
Thank you for making a difference with your support!
