2026 Long Island Run/Walk

Here for a Reason

This year, I am walking for a reason that is deeply personal. In July, I suffered a sudden ruptured beain aneurysm. I was incredibly lucky to be in the right place at the right time, surrounded by people who responded quickly. But not everyone is that lucky.

Every 18 minutes, a brain aneurysm ruptures. I'm walking to help build awareness, support research focused on prevention and early detection, and help give more people the chance to recognize early warning signs and get the help they need.

I never expected to find myself part of this community, but I am incredibly grateful for the second chance I’ve been given. If you’re able to donate, every contribution means so much to me and my family, and helps support the Brain Aneurysm Foundation’s work toward a future where more lives can be saved.

Thank you for supporting me, my family, and this cause that now means more to us than I ever could have imagined.
