2025 Long Island Walk

Robert's Crew

We're fundraising for my dad the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!

Today we walk in honor of my dad, who passed away from a brain aneurysm when I was just three years old. Even though I was so young, I have carried his love and spirit with me my entire life. I have grown up hearing stories about the kind of man he was. How he always made people laugh, how deeply he cared for his friends and family. Those stories have become my memories, and have helped shape the person I am today.

This walk is about more than remembering him. It is about taking steps toward change. Brain aneurysms are often silent until it is too late, affecting thousands of families every year. By walking, we are raising awareness, funding research, and working toward better prevention, detection, and treatment so that fewer families have to experience the pain of losing someone so suddenly.

For me, every step is a way to feel connected to my dad. To honor the life he lived and the legacy he left behind. It is also a way to turn loss into purpose. I walk with love in my heart, hope for the future, and a commitment to making a difference in his name.

Dad, this walk is for you. Thank you for inspiring me to keep going, to care deeply, and to fight for a future where brain aneurysms take fewer lives. You will always be with me, and today, with every step, I carry you forward.
