My gentle giant helping me recover at home :)
My gentle giant helping me recover at home :)

I'm fundraising for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!

Thanks to early detection, two brain aneurysms were discovered before they had the chance to rupture. That diagnosis saved my life. Now, I’m sharing my story to help others get that same chance, especially during September, Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month.

Here’s why this matters:

  • 1 in 50 people has an unruptured brain aneurysm.

  • A brain aneurysm ruptures every 18 minutes.

  • Ruptures are fatal in about 50% of cases.

  • 66% of survivors are left with permanent neurological deficits.

  • 20% of people diagnosed have more than one aneurysm — like I did.

  • Yet, the federal government spends only $2.94 per year on brain aneurysm research for each person affected.

With your help, we can spread awareness, push for more research, and give others the chance at early detection and better outcomes.

If sharing my story helps even one more person detect an aneurysm before it ruptures, it’s worth it. Thank you for helping make that possible!
