I'm fundraising for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!
OUR MISSION: To promote early detection of brain aneurysms by providing knowledge and raising awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors. Work with the medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families, as well as to further research that will improve patient outcomes and save lives.
Through your support, the Brain Aneurysm Foundation will be able to continue to provide support and educational materials and information to brain aneurysm patients, their families, and the medical community and to promote critical awareness of brain aneurysms which will lead to earlier detection. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is funding essential research that will promote a better understanding of why this condition happens and identify those at risk before an aneurysm rupture occurs.
My grandmother was the heart of our family—an inspiration in every sense of the word. She taught us how to cook with love, how to enjoy a meal with gratitude, and how to take pride in our heritage as Italian Americans. She was also a Bloomfield Democratic councilwoman and municipal chairwoman and worked for Essex County for 47 years, retiring as the supervisor of the Department of Family Services. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to others shaped who I am today. She had a way of making every gathering feel special, filling our home with laughter, and stories that connected us to generations before.
Even though she passed away many years ago, I never forget her. It’s a loss that still doesn’t feel real, and one I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I am dedicating this fundraiser to her memory, in the hope that more lives can be saved through research, awareness, and early detection. Please consider donating to honor her legacy and to support the fight against brain aneurysms. Every contribution brings us one step closer to preventing another family from experiencing this unimaginable loss.
Thank you for making a difference with your support!
