Bright Butterfly
Welcome back to the third annual Bright Butterfly walk for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation!
I am so glad to see you here. As many of you know I am the leader of this team for many reasons. Reason one, and the most important is to honor my bright butterfly, Jennifer D. Rocha. Three years ago on February 22, 2021 my family and I lost the rock of our family. We were left with no answers, goodbyes, or closure. Since then I have fought, researched, and walked for not only my mother but for the others who have been affected by an aneurysm, or whom have survived one and are living their new normal.
Team Bright Butterfly in the past three years has raised hundreds of dollars to support the research of the brain aneurysm foundation (BAF) and have been one of the largest groups/supporters to walk and donate to the cause!
My hope this year is to continue this legacy of our bright butterfly team, shine our light and spread our wings for my beautiful mom and those who are grieving just like myself.
On behalf of the team, the BAF, and my mom; I thank you for being here and for helping my team fight!
with love,
Amelia
