Welcome to My BrainPower Page

Hi everyone,
A few years ago my brother Todd simultaneously battled a brain aneurysm and cancer. Tragically, we lost him. He was a lover of health & fitness. He was in incredible shape, was a personal trainer, a massage therapist, and practiced Reiki healing. His passion for fitness has inspired me to take on my own fitness challenges. In 2019 I challenged myself to climb Mount Washington. David Goggins was a huge motivator for me and helped me accomplish my goal. David Goggins is hosting a challenge he calls the "4x4x48". Every 4 hours he runs 4 miles and repeats this for 48 hours. Participants don't have to run, they can do anything-push ups/pulls ups/walk. So, I'm going to walk for 45 minutes every 4 hours for a 48 hour span. The timing of this challenge is perfect, it's March 5th through March 7th and Todd's birthday happens to be March 6th. Todd's birthday is 3/6/70 so my goal is to raise $3670. Please donate what you can between now and 8pm March 7th. Thank you!
I am raising awareness and funds for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation and I have set up a BrainPower Page. I'd like to be able to count on you to make a donation to the organization so that I can help them fulfill their mission. Giving is easy! You can read more about what we do here as well as make a secure donation online.
The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the world's premier nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysm ruptures.
All proceeds go towards:
- Funding and supporting new research.
- Providing support and educational materials to the medical community, the newly diagnosed, survivors, family members, friends and the general public regarding the facts, treatment options, and recovery process for brain aneurysms.
- Increasing awareness of brain aneurysms by promoting National Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month in September and by distributing aneurysm awareness materials to Emergency Departments in every hospital and to the community.
With your support, we can start making a real investment to help fight the devastation caused by brain aneurysms and save lives. All donations are tax-deductible and every dollar raised goes to help support the mission of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
If you cannot make a donation at this time, please forward this link to everyone you know. Post this on your Facebook and Twitter pages. Every donation counts, no matter what the amount.
The loss of a loved one is devastating. Yet, we are always reminded by our hearts – how lucky we have been to know those that we loved even in our loss.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.
