Honoring the Life of Steve Franck
On July 29, Steve Franck suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm that changed our family’s lives without warning. Over the next 39 days, he endured two emergency brain surgeries, two additional successful procedures and a stroke. He fought with incredible strength through all of it before passing away peacefully on September 5.
Steve was deeply loved. He and his wife, Sandy, celebrated 53 years of marriage just weeks before his passing, and the life they built together is his greatest legacy. He was a husband, father, grandfather, family member and friend whose absence will be felt in ways we are only beginning to understand.
In Steve’s memory, our family has created this page to support the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. Before this happened, we never imagined how quickly a brain aneurysm could devastate an entire family. We now understand how critical awareness, education, support and continued research truly are.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 in Steve’s memory. Every gift, regardless of the amount, will help fund research, increase awareness and support individuals and families affected by brain aneurysms. Our hope is that something meaningful can grow from our loss—and that through greater awareness and research, another life may be saved and another family may be spared this heartbreak.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this page is also a meaningful way to help.
Thank you for remembering Steve, for loving our family and for helping us honor his life in a way that may make a difference for others.
