Linda Biase's Memorial Page, gone but not forgotten

My unforgettable mother, Linda Biase, was my blessing in life, you are a memory, a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Linda suffered double brain aneursyms and multiple strokes in May of 2002 at the age of 50. After surgery, she remained in a coma for several weeks, at Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston. From there she was moved to Kessler Rehabilitation Center for brain injury in East Orange. However due to the massive rupture, and massive bleeding, no amount of rehablitation could reverse the trama, my mother was then considered low functioning with major brain deficit. She remained in St. Could Health Care nursing home for 12 1/2 years. After years of several infections, blood clots, and other numerous ailments including weeks spent back in St Barnabas, her petite yet strong body fought until the very end. My mothers battle ended September 30, 2014, she passed while my brother and I were holding her until her last breath with our family all around her.
Linda was an original, kind, generous, loving spirit, who was beautiful on the inside and out. She was always there to listen, care, and give the biggest hugs. Not to mention a phenominal cook, hysterical jokes, and ability to always stay strong. Linda always saw the good in the world, and always encouragaged me to follow my dreams. Her natural kind personality was organic, she is deeply missed by anyone who was touched by her love, friendship, loyality, and her selfless devotion to bring out the best in everyone. We miss your smile, your voice, your sense of humor, your charm, wit, and way of making everything better.
The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the world's only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysm ruptures.
All proceeds go towards:
- Funding and supporting new research.
- Providing support and educational materials to the medical community, the newly diagnosed, survivors, family members, friends and the general public regarding the facts, treatment options, and recovery process for brain aneurysms.
- Increasing awareness of brain aneurysms by promoting National Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month in September and by distributing aneurysm awareness materials to Emergency Departments in every hospital and to the community.
With your support, we can start making a real investment to help fight the DEVESTATION caused by brain aneurysms and SAVE LIVES. All donations are tax-deductible and every dollar raised goes to help support the mission of The Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
