Andrew's Family!

Hi everyone, As many of you know, I am raising awareness and funds for The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, and I have set up a Memorial Page for Andrew Martin Christiansen. I'd like to be able to count on you to make a donation to the organization so that I can help them fulfill my mission. Giving is easy! Please click Donate Now on my page. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the world's only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysm ruptures.

Andrew Martin Christiansen was born to Tim and Candy Christiansen on February 17, 1983 in Omaha, Ne. Andrew has one sister Andrea who is 4 years younger. The Christiansen family moved to Gillette, Wyoming when Andrew was 10 years old. The family then moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming when he was 14 years old where they currently reside.

Andrew graduated from Rock Springs High school in 2001. Shortly after graduation he started working for R.P. Oil Field Services Inc. On August 23, 2008 Andrew married the love of his life and soul-mate Betty-Jo. The love that they shared is one that everyone dreams to have. On February 8, 2014 Andrew and Betty-Jo welcomed their first child. A beautiful baby girl names Shelby-Jo. They love Shelby-Jo with all they have. Andrew was so excited to become a father. He loved holding and playing with Shelby-Jo daily and she would smile at him as soon as she heard his voice or saw him walk into the room.

On Saturday May 17, 2014 Andrew was doing what he loved. He and his father Tim, friends Casey and Matt along with a few of Andrew's other buddies were at the Sweetwater Speedway working in the pits and cheering on a life long friend Casey. After the races the guys  were getting everything all rounded together and Andrew did not feel right. Andrew then collapsed and was raced to Memorial Hospital in Rock Springs, Wyoming where they obtained a scan of his head and informed the family that Andrew had suffered from a ruptured Brain Aneurysm. Memorial Hospital stabilized Andrew and life-flighted him to International Hospital in Salt Lake City UT.

On Wednesday May 21, 2014 Andrew lost his fight. He was surrounded by his wife and daughter, parents, sister, and cousin and many life long friends. Andrew is survived by his wife, Betty-Jo, daughter Shelby-Jo Christiansen, father and mother, Tim and Candy Christiansen, sister and brother in law, Andrea and Dion Vigil, cousin Bobby Sporven, friend Matt and many other family and friends.

Andrew was a man of his word. He loved with everything he had. He had a personality that was like no other! His smile would brighten your day no matter how bad it was. He had come back comment for anything you could throw at him. His hugs would make you feel better instantly. His laugh would make you smile instantly. His family was number one to him and anyone that hurt his family would hear from him. His friends become part of the family and were very important to him.

Andrew was a huge family man! He gave with everything he had. He worked hard and played harder. He can be found cheering on the Huskers or Denver Broncos, giving tattoos, shooting guns or bows, playing pool or softball, riding his chopper, 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, or out at the race tracks helping in the pits making sure his friends were running top notch. He could sit at home and play beer pong, or just sit and talk with you for hours. (Unless you were cheering against his Huskers then he would tell you to get out. :) He loved his remote control cars, super-cross, guns, his Mustang, and chopper. You never had to question if what he was selling you was well taken care of. After each use of anything he owns he spent hours and hours cleaning it and making sure it was perfect.

Andrew would tell you he did not care what he looked like but you better believe that he always was dressed to impress!! If he got one little spot on his outfit he would be going home to change. He had enough shoes to match each and every outfit he had.

Andrew did not care how much money you had or where you lived he gave everyone a chance. He would help anyone without asking for anything in return. He loved with all he had and was a gentle fun loving, kind hearted man that will be missed more than he will ever know.

Andrew made a huge impact on hundreds of people lives. He could have never known how many people loved and respected him. He was a humble guy with the heart of gold and he will be loved and missed dearly.

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Casey and Amanda Delp, and Matt for all there love and support. Without their love and support we would be lost. Also THANK YOU to the whole community of Rock Springs, WY. The love and support that you continue to show for the family is outstanding!!!
