Sisters, Annie Kurzweg and Rachel Gottlieb wrote and illustrated When Someone You Love Has an Aneurysm as a way to help children better understand aneurysms. After Rachel suffered a brain aneurysm rupture in 2005, they found it difficult to explain what had happened to young family members.
Rachel has since recovered and is healthy now and both sisters are happy to share their special project.
